What we send

Messages go only to the roughly ninety dads on our own roster. Nobody else is ever messaged, and we do not buy, sell, rent or share phone numbers with anyone.

Typical messages:

Roughly two to six messages a month, more in the week before a campout.

How members opt in

A dad enters his own phone number on his profile on this site and ticks a box that is unchecked by default. The wording next to it reads:

Text me about campouts and tribe news. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.

No number is ever added on someone's behalf, and consent is recorded with the date and the exact wording shown at the time.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to stop immediately. Reply HELP for help, or email dustinrow@gmail.com. A dad can also untick the box on his profile at any time.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

Privacy

Phone numbers are used only to send the messages described above. They are not sold, rented or shared, and they are visible only to members of the tribe who are signed in.
