Text messaging program disclosure
Aztecs Camping Group is the Aztecs tribe of the Bear Nation, YMCA Adventure Guides. Our website is aztecstribe.com.
Messages go only to the roughly ninety dads on our own roster. Nobody else is ever messaged, and we do not buy, sell, rent or share phone numbers with anyone.
Typical messages:
Roughly two to six messages a month, more in the week before a campout.
A dad enters his own phone number on his profile on this site and checks a box that is unchecked by default. The wording next to it reads:
Yes, send me SMS text messages from Aztecs Camping Group about campouts and tribe events. Message frequency varies, typically a few per month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. This is optional and is not required to join or use the site.
No number is ever added on someone's behalf, and consent is recorded with the date and the exact wording shown at the time.
This is exactly what a member sees on his profile page. It is reproduced here because the real form sits behind a member login, so it cannot be reached without an account.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Reply STOP to any message to stop immediately. Reply HELP for
help, or email dustinrow@gmail.com. A dad can
also uncheck the box on his profile at any time.
